Location

Just minutes away from Fontenay-le-Comte, it's easy to get to us from major roads such as the A83 or N10 and we offer secure parking onsite. There are airports at La Rochelle and Nantes and several train stations nearby including La Rochelle, Niort, La Roche sur Yon and Nantes, all with good bus services into our local town. 

Auchay-sur-Vendee is a small commune made up of 2 villages, Auzay (where we are located) and Chaix. Set up at the top of a valley, we have wonderful views across the area and are surrounded by beautiful countryside. This part of the South Vendee comes under the Pays de la Loire region and benefits from a similar micro-climate to the Charente Maritime, meaning we generally have quite long hot summers, often stretching into the Autumn months, with gentle breezes cutting through the hottest days. Winters are mild and Springtime brings some welcome sunshine and showers to help everything grow again!
