This remarkable landscape has been designated both a Regional Natural Park and a Grand Site de France. Just a few minutes away form us, you can be gliding along peaceful waterways by boat, cycling through shaded paths, or discovering excellent birdwatching spots scattered throughout the marshland. The region also boasts over 150 marked hiking trails, guiding visitors through diverse scenery including wetlands, forests, coastal areas, and charming rural villages.
For those seeking adventure, the Vendée has plenty to offer—kayaking on lakes, forest trails and zip-wire parks, local race car circuits, and even a nearby aerodrome where you can learn to fly a light aircraft

The Vendée is equally rich in culture and history. With strong connections to Napoleon, Eleanor of Aquitaine, and the dramatic War in the Vendée (1793–1796), the area is steeped in heritage. Between our on-site pool and the incredble range of local attractions and events aimed at youngsters, having bored children should never be an issue!
Throughout the Summer months you'll find numerous things to do with the kids, from feeding lambs at the rare breed farm to gliding down huge slides and tunnels at one of the large water parks nearby. There are village fetes, art workshops, zoos, aquuariums, fun parks and fabulous themed parks like Futuroscope and Puy de Fou.
